Eating healthy during pregnancy is very important. You should remember that you are eating for two, but your baby needs certain things as it develops throughout the months ahead. For this reason, it is important not only to focus on the main meals that you eat but the pregnancy snacks that you add in as well.

Many women are unable to eat full meals due to nausea and morning sickness. For this reason, having snacks throughout the day can be an important part of any pregnancy. It is also a good idea to snack during the day so that you can keep your energy up and to gain the right amount of foods that will keep your pregnancy and your baby healthy. Below are some of the healthy snacks that you can choose from while you are pregnant.

1. Fruit

Fruit are an excellent choice even when you’re not pregnant. Apples, bananas, pears and other fruits are all simple to enjoy and offer nutrients that your body needs to stay healthy. You can also enjoy a fruit cups, that are packed in their own juices rather than in sugary syrup.
